The top latitude determines the northernmost point on the map. The minimum (and default) for this value is -90 (the South Pole); this will show the southern ice cap. To remove the southern ice cap (normally for maps focusing on a specific area, or fantasy maps), simply reduce this value (usually to -60). This value must be negative.

The bottom latitude determines the southernmost point on the map. The minimum (and default) for this value is -90 (the South Pole); this will show the southern ice cap. To remove the southern ice cap (normally for maps focusing on a specific area, or fantasy maps), simply reduce this value (usually to -60). This value must be negative.


EG: Northernmost point is on the 80 degrees south latitude line.
