The starting gold for one team is 10000, the rest start out with the same amount as the first one.                                                                                                   Also you get to have    the gold by stealing it    from civilizations or    by sneaking it out of  a city.                                                                                                                 from,manEtanecha
The StartingGold value is the amount of gold that each civilization starts with in a scenario.  The StartingGold value can be set to any numerical value (i.e. if you wanted each civilization to start with 100 gold, the line of the file would look like "StartingGold= 100").

The StartingGold value is the amount of gold that each civilization starts with in a scenario. The StartingGold value can be set to any numerical value (i.e. if you wanted each civilization to start with 100 gold, the line of the file would look like "StartingGold= 100").
